By Orrin Boyd
I bought a Fujitsu Lifebook T1010 laptop/ tablet pc and have had it for about a week now. I originally was going to get the Lifebook U810, but I already have a Mini PC; but I was still very attracted to the design and the specs of the Fujitsu Lifebook. I kept seeing the T1010 advertise, and after a few times, I decided to purchase one, and I am sure glad I did. I got it preconfigured with 120 hard drive (which I switched out right away for a 200 gb 7200 rpm drive) and the new DDR3 RAM, 2 GB. I absolutely am loving evrything about this laptop. It is fast, flawless connection, sturdy, sleek, and has a very attractive design. The moment that I picked it up, I knew that it was built very well. It doesn't get hot at all. The graphics is very very good for the type of laptop/ tablet that it is, and also for its size. The only issue that I have with it, if this is really an issue, is that it did not come with WWAN. I think it has the connection inside it, but I have to get the WWAN card I believe. But this in itself is really nobiggie at all, because as of this posting, I have never used WWAN. I have been an avid Dell user/ purchaser util now. I went to the Dell website and built a latitude with similar specs, give or take one or two, and that Dell laptop would have costed me close to $2300.00, almost a thousand more than what I paid for this one, and the Dell had the same ratings and reviews as this one did. I asked a computer repair technician for his unbiased opinion and review of Fujitsu laptops, and he said that either they haven't sold too many of them (which I have learned now that quite a few Fujitsu laptops are sold), or they are built very well, because of his 10+ years at computer repair, he has not seen but one Fujitsu come through, and that was just for a spyware issue. He said that apparently Fujitsu are one of the best on the market today. To close this out, if you are thinking about purchasing this type of laptop/tablet pc, then go ahead! Get it! You will Not regret it I assure you. And its sexiness will run the women wild. I have used mine in public, and a few times now, a crowd gathered around me in awe of this fine laptop. Thanks for listening.

By D. Robert Burroughs
I don't know what to say about the negative review above other than I would bet there was pilot error involved.
My Fujitsu T1010 has Windows XP Tablet Edition installed and has been absolutely dead stable.
I bought mine from a person that sold it to me as is because he could not figure out how to use it. You can customize all of the tablet settings, which you really need to do to be able to take advantage of all the features of this computer. You can get this with Vista or Seven installed from Fujitsu. Avoid Vista because the tablet features in Vista are NOT very stable. Seven seems to work fine but I actually like XP better.
I am using this computer for audio and video recording and editing along with graphics using Adobe Creative Suite 5. The pen is very easy to use with Adobe and I love the screen. Battery life is better than any of the other laptops I have.
I use Spybot Search and Destroy along with AVG for malware and antivirus which do not slow down any computer as much as Macaffee or Norton when you are doing graphics or audio and video.
I would highly recomend a T1010 to anybody. I just recommend you actually go through the tutorial and setup in order to get the most out of this computer.
BESIDES it can READ my handwriting!!! - like right now doing this review.

By Andy
I have had a old Fujitsu for 6 years, it is still going strong to date. But that one is too bulky, that's why I bought this one several months ago. Same sturdy design. For me Made In Japan is way better than Made In China. Nowadays, even expensive laptops like Mac and Vaio are made in China. I think I will stick to Fujitsu, unless they do the same cut cost and lower quality thing like other vendors.
